2010 Accomplishments Put Powdered Energy Drink Company on Track for Victory in 2011

Over the course of 2010, Zipfizz Corporation has remained energized. The corporation launched a multimillion dollar media plan, including a commercial blitz which ran late summer and featured first-ever spokesperson Josie Bissett. Bissett was selected to address Zipfizz’s target demographic – men and women with active lifestyles seeking a healthy energy drink alternative. Her lifestyle perfectly mirrors the Zipfizz target demographic and helped generate a successful campaign, putting the company on track for victory in 2011.

“2010 was very successful; powdered energy drink sales were up 35%, which is a true accomplishment in this economy,” said Riley Livingston, Zipfizz CEO and President. “We are grateful for our dedicated consumers and assure you we are continuing to grow and expand the corporation with each opportunity given.”

The year started off strong with its focus on web-based social media, community relations and charity events. Strong presence on interactive sites like Facebook and Twitter provided consumers the opportunity to have their questions and concerns addressed in real time. Zipfizz also introduced its first newsletter in company history, keeping users informed of product launches, events and promotions. Following the commercial blitz in late August was the 1st Annual Zipfizz Golf Tournament in benefit of the Boys and Girls Club; the event was successful despite the short planning time.

Further achievements include Zipfizz’s retail additions into Harmons, Ralphs, BJ’s Wholesale Club, and REI, as well as completion of its full expansion of all Sam’s Clubs.

Additional highlights of 2010 included a product launch for the new and improved grape-flavored Energy Shot. In a day where energy shooters flood retailers, the Zipfizz Energy Shot proves itself among others. The Energy Shot is available at Costco.com, Samsclub.com, and Zipfizz.com.

With plans to continue growing, 2011 is an essential year for Zipfizz. This growth will occur by increasing events, sponsorships, and Zipfizz sampling opportunities. The 2nd Annual Zipfizz Golf Tournament is set for July 15, 2011, with goals of doubling the size and charitable amount donated. 2011 also includes a continued expansion into all BJ’s Wholesale Clubs, Albertsons, and REIs.
